Morning Mindset.
You deserve to wake up and feel good. You deserve to wake up and feel happy. You deserve to wake up and feel at peace.
So waking this morning, let the first thoughts and emotions that fill your body be of: feeling good, feeling happy, feeling at peace.
How you do that?
Focus on one thing that feels good, that the big morning stretch on the edge of your bed or the first deep breath you take expanding your lungs. Stay in that moment and feeling for a second. Relish in the feeling of your body being a safe space for you to feel good. Don’t focus on anything that challenges that feeling, no aches, pains, or anything else gets your attention on this moment.
Now focus on one thing that makes you feel the warm feeling of happiness. Bask in it. Maybe it’s the thought of breakfast, or getting to play your morning playlist. Let this happiness occupy every corner and inch of your body. Anything that opposes this happiness does not get any real estate.
Lastly - bring your attention to one thing that brings you the feeling of inner peace. In fact this is not a feeling that comes and goes, this is a state of being, a place to reside. Unpack your bags here and stay for the day. This is your norm, your thermostat set. Maybe this peace is brought to you by repeating “I am safe in my body, my body is designed to thrive and heal every day, I trust my body”. Maybe it is simply removing all thoughts and welcoming being present and here without having to label it.
