Okay so fully honest moment (yes trainers struggle with the same things you do)…. I had a tough week of some muscle tightness and nervous system dysregulation - which essentially led to having several no movement days in a row. I then get really hard on myself getting off my routine and let’s be honest that pressure just makes everything worse. I now slowly getting back to movement and reminded of two things
1. The gratitude for simply moving. It makes the days we don’t want to workout seem so trivial considering we GET to workout
2. Giving Grace. Our routines and wellness habits shouldn’t cause stress… if they are… they aren’t wellness routines now are they?! These routines are meant to keep us balanced not build a box. If you are stressed by doing them or missing them occasionally, it’s time for reassessing what ones serve you.
