Clean eating on the go!
Traveling can make it hard to stick to options that are healthier but it just requires looking… when in doubt I go for a good veggie mix/salad and add a protein. A few tips I have learned to make it easier.
1. In google maps search for “vegan” in the area for more veggie based options
2. Order a salad and ask for a side of a protein to add such as eggs or a fish
3. Find a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s for a premade salad or veggie dish that you can keep in the hotel fridge
4. When in doubt find an all day breakfast place for a protein (egg) veggie option - there tend to be more basic items you can order and curate to a well balanced meal yourself
