I want you to begin to catch yourself when you are in a state of rushing and ask:
1. Is what I am rushing for worth my overall health and well-being to become compromised for?
2. Will slowing down still get what I am doing accomplished, if not accomplished even better?
3. If I already feel short on time, why am I trying to make it go faster?
4. Can I pause right now and reassess after 2 deep breaths?
