WEEK 4 DAILY RITUALS CHALLENGE: THE INTERWORKINGS
Welcome to the fourth week and fourth focal point in our Challenge of building Daily Rituals that cater to each of your Human Essentials. This week's Human Essential is The Interworkings.
The Interworkings describes the systems and processes that exist within us. The invisible strings that thread everything in our body together and form the tapestry of our being. Everything from physiology to our slightly less measurable and tangible but very real, energetic body. Learning all the systems at play in our body is such an important thing to do in truly learning ourselves at a deeper level of function. Learning how your digestive system effects your nervous system, or your circulatory and lymph system work together, that stagnant energy in the body can create psychosomatic responses, and the list goes on.
This week, let your Daily Rituals be anything in the arena of catering to your systems. As mentioned last week - this is very individual to your needs, but let the following list spark some inspiration.
- Doing self-lymph massage (with gua sha, dry brush or wood paddle)
- Castor oil packs at night
- Following Circadian Rhythm eating times (notes from The Circadian Code)
- Doing daily breath work
- Doing cold showers or cold lunges
- Daily Sauna
- Having regular sleep and wake up times
- Doing daily red-light therapy
