Over stimulation?!
Over stimulation?!
You ever think about how EVEN when it may seem like a good thing to learn more, research more, listen to more…. It may actually be working against your well-being at times? We are not designed to be CONSTANTLY consuming - and yet…
In 2025, the average daily media consumption is around 12 hours! That’s 12 hours of information - some correct, some incorrect, some fear mongering, some anxiety inducing (whether you realize it or not), some “mindless”, some as a distraction. Some is helpful, some is interesting, some is stimulating. The problem is - 12 hours! Our poor brains! I get the term brain rot now because it’s just being hammered with stimulation, and not getting to be present, aware, slow, intentional. There is a huge different between hearing some birds chirping on a walk, and listening to another health podcast with new terrifying data about microplastics in our bodies.
How much of your day are you being bombarded? How much have you curated and carved out space to just be?
